Special Servicing's Leadership Team

AURA's Special Servicing platform provides expertise for motgage loan special servicing for CMBS and third party investors. Our Special Servicing team has been rated by Standard & Poor's since 1995 and is currently named special servicer on several mortgage loans totaling approximately $1 billion for CMBS investors.

David Feltman, CCIM joined AURA in 1989. David is an Executive Vice President of AURA. In his role as Executive Vice President, David's primary responsibilities include acquisition, asset management and disposition of equity real estate. Functional areas under his direction include Special Servicing, Real Estate Acquisitions, Commercial Real Estate Asset Management, and Special Servicing. He has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry across a wide variety of disciplines including development, syndication, leasing, investment brokerage, multifamily management and distressed debt workouts. Prior to joining AURA, he was Director of Development for a Midwest real estate firm for ten years. David is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Turnaround Management Association and the American Real Estate Society. He attended George Washington University.

Gregory Dryden, MAI, CRE joined AURA in 1995. Gregory is a Senior Vice President for the Special Servicing Group. In his role as Vice President, Gregory is responsible for Aegon’s mortgage loan special servicing for CMBS and third party investors. Prior to his current role, Greg led Aegon's direct acquisitions of real estate, investing in properties throughout the eastern US, and prior to that role was Aegon Realty’s Chief Appraiser. Prior to joining Aegon, Gregory worked for Bank of America in Los Angeles in addition to other financial institutions in the Dallas area. Gregory received his BBA in Marketing from the University of North Texas.
